On Friday, I visited a baby death camp. A place where people are paid to murder pre-born babies before they ever see the light of day.
Myself, Amy (the amazing founder of Spur Ministries who does this 24/5 and has 60+ saved babies on her record), and my good friends from the Brown family, pleaded with families to choose life before they went inside.
There were 2 women who’s stories stood out to me from that day.

Helping us save babies by supporting our abortion ministry
The story of Jane Doe (we never got her name)
She seemed receptive at first, but after hearing that we were defending the lives of babies, she quickly gave her middle finger to us. She laughed and even recorded Amy speaking (which was a great thing actually).
I couldn’t help but feel bad for her, because she was exchanging the truth of God for a lie, just as it is written:
24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator
Romans 1:24-25
Both men and women across our country, even professing Christians, are worshipping themselves, their independence, and their ability to do whatever they want regardless of anyone else.
The story of Taja
Then there was Taja. The police were called on us for “blocking traffic” (we were just greeting people at the entrance to explain why we were there)
As we were talking to the police, a women named Taja drove up, and Amy immediately ran to the front entrance to greet her.
God graciously kept me speaking to the officers so that Amy would have a chance, even a moment, to make her case to Taja.
The officers left, we kept on, but Amy was still there…20 minutes later, taking to Taja.
I can only imagine what God was doing in Taja’s heart as Amy was faithfully sharing how God has planned her pregnancy, how we ought to keep our children alive, and how through all of our wrongs, Jesus provides a way for us to be saved if we would turn to him.
Eventually, Taja had to park her car, and unfortunately we can’t trespass into the parking lot.
Ron and I yelled across the lot “Taja, can we give you something?” (we had these free love boxes to give).
Taja replied
“My appointment is at 11”
The only thing I could get out in that tense moment as she was approaching the door of that baby death camp was this:
“They don’t want you Taja, they want the blood of your children”
Unfortunately, Taja went in. Hours later, she came out, and was not responsive to us and drove off. However, that doesn’t mean the story is over.
The story isn’t over
Taja came alone, which means she most likely wasn’t having a surgical abortion that day. She was either getting her consultation, or she was getting a pill.
With the 20 minutes Amy had with her, and all of our words ringing in her mind, we pray to the God, who is in control of all things, that he would open Taja’s eyes and that she would choose life when she got home.
I praise God for what he enabled us to do on Friday, and I pray for many, many more of these days (and for others to join us as well).
